Schools Conflict Resolution and Mediation

Schools Conflict Resolution and Mediation is an interactive role play competition for Western Australian Year 9 and 10 high school students.

If you would like to find out about registration for 2019 or future years, please contact Margaret Dixon, SCRAM Convenor, mobile: 0439 693 239 or email:

Participating schools receive scenarios and the assistance of a mediator as a coach for their team. Other support is provided by the SCRAM Convenor and Coordinator, and the website.

Working with children check

The Working with Children Check is a compulsory criminal check for many people who work with children under the age of 18 in WA. It is administered by the Working with Children Screening Unit, Department for Child Protection.

As SCRAM works with high school aged children we require our adjudicators and volunteer coaches to apply for a Working with Children card.

Application forms are available from post offices. Find out more information at the Department of Child Protection's website.

Photo consent

For SCRAM photographs to be published for promotional purposes please complete the 'consent and clearance' form from this page and return it to the SCRAM Convenor.
